    Mondays

    Weekly classes, all year long

    Classes are suggested to be taken by monthly series, but students can drop in if preferred. For new students: we recommend taking a complete series first, or if you’d like to drop in, to do so Weeks 1 or 2.

    Foundations: focus on learning vocabulary, technique and other fundamentals through drills and exercises

    Choreography: focuses on a set routine for 1-2 weeks at a time

    Tuesdays

    A new series, every month

    3 Week Beginner Series
    7-9pm
    At Whim Whim Dance Center

    June series begins 6/10

    This series is designed for beginners, no dance experience required. This program is designed to introduce afro dance movement in a smaller environment. Class limited to 18 students.

    Intermediate Intensives

    Workshop offerings 1-2x a quarter

    June 21 from 2-5pm with Lionel Vero
    At Whim Whim Dance Center

    These intimate intensives are designed for pre-intermediate students and above looking to further their Afro training. We welcome students to sign up who have foundations in Afro styles, or who have an intermediate level in another dance style. This class is specifically designed to challenge students, and provide direct feedback to improve confidence, performance, freestyle and technique.
