    About the Role:
PNW Afro Dance Camp Vol. 3 is looking for a Graphic Designer to own our visual output across digital and print channels. This is an opportunity to use your design skills to directly impact and uplift a vibrant arts organization, African artists, and the broader dance community.

You'll work within an established brand system alongside our Brand Director—translating guidelines into scroll-stopping social content, email graphics, flyers, and posters that capture the energy of our event.

This is a strong fit for design students, recent graduates, or freelancers building their portfolio. You'll leave with a cohesive body of work showing range across formats, plus experience collaborating with creative leadership and navigating real feedback cycles.

    What You'll Create

    • Digital: Social media graphics (static posts, stories, carousels), email headers, website assets

    • Print: Event flyers, posters, promotional materials

    What You'll Do

    • Execute designs that align with our brand guide while bringing your own creative instincts

    • Attend weekly team syncs to review priorities and incorporate feedback

    • Manage your own task queue and flag blockers early

    • Iterate based on direction—sometimes quickly

    What We're Looking For

    • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Canva (you'll use both)

    • Strong typography and layout fundamentals

    • Ability to take feedback without taking it personally

    • Reliable communication and self-directed time management

    • Genuine enthusiasm for the project and community

    A Typical Week

    • One sync meeting with the marketing team. A few hours of focused design time. Async check-ins via email or team messaging. Occasional quick-turn requests closer to the event.
