PNW Afro Dance Camp Vol. 3 is looking for a Graphic Designer to own our visual output across digital and print channels. This is an opportunity to use your design skills to directly impact and uplift a vibrant arts organization, African artists, and the broader dance community.You'll work within an established brand system alongside our Brand Director—translating guidelines into scroll-stopping social content, email graphics, flyers, and posters that capture the energy of our event.
This is a strong fit for design students, recent graduates, or freelancers building their portfolio. You'll leave with a cohesive body of work showing range across formats, plus experience collaborating with creative leadership and navigating real feedback cycles.
What You'll Create
Digital: Social media graphics (static posts, stories, carousels), email headers, website assets
Print: Event flyers, posters, promotional materials
What You'll Do
Execute designs that align with our brand guide while bringing your own creative instincts
Attend weekly team syncs to review priorities and incorporate feedback
Manage your own task queue and flag blockers early
Iterate based on direction—sometimes quickly
What We're Looking For
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Canva (you'll use both)
Strong typography and layout fundamentals
Ability to take feedback without taking it personally
Reliable communication and self-directed time management
Genuine enthusiasm for the project and community
A Typical Week
One sync meeting with the marketing team. A few hours of focused design time. Async check-ins via email or team messaging. Occasional quick-turn requests closer to the event.
