We are beyond excited to invite you our first annual afro dance camp, based in Seattle, WA! In this camp, we hope to combine intentional training and Afro education with a moment to enjoy each other as a community as well!

Special invitation goes to any of our Afro Dance Seattle students, even those who have moved away! As well as to our cousins in Portland and Vancouver! While we are focused on these communities, all dancers are welcome from any location or any dance background.

More details will come available as we approach June 15-16. Here is some initial information:

Location: Cornish College of the Arts, Kerry Hall (710 E Roy St, Seattle, WA 98102)
Dates: Saturday 6/15 and Sunday 6/16
Times: Doors open at 10:30am, first session begins at 11am. Day closes out at 7:30pm
Food: We will open up an option to purchase a catered box lunch so you don’t have to scramble for food in the middle of the camp. Box lunches must be preordered by May 31st. Otherwise, we recommend you bringing snacks and drinks that will last you the day. Luckily we are walking distance to restaurants, however we don’t advise leaving for very long as we have programming throughout the whole day.
Classes: A full schedule will be released closer to the camp dates, but we want to share now that classes will be separated by level to provide more intentional teaching to all students. LVL 1 Beginner + LVL 2 Adv. Beg/Intermediate.
Teachers: We are still confirming our lineup but will have at least 5 teachers joining us this year! Stay tuned for confirmations!
